What Is Spiritual Intelligence? | The 6 Levels of SQ Explained

You are the map to spiritual intelligence; unlock it within yourself.

The actual map of spiritual intelligence exists within you; you are the map. Each one of the first six chakras serves as a processing center for consciousness and energy: root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, and third eye. These are the six levels of spiritual intelligence that our energy moves through as it ascends up the spinal highway of the chakra network. The crown is the gateway to intelligent infinity, the intelligence of God is available within you right now, but you have to unlock it.

Let's talk about spiritual intelligence itself and how it relates to catalyst integration. As I was going through my own spiritual awakening, especially reading the Law of One and understanding the seven densities and the progression of consciousness's evolution, it became very clear to me that spiritual intelligence is a very real thing. We usually use terms like awareness or consciousness as an overarching term for it, but I really like quantifying it as spiritual intelligence. There are people who are extremely brilliant in terms of IQ and can solve complex problems, but they have almost no awareness of the metaphysics of the universe, understanding the nature of their own mind, their ego, being aware of their thoughts, and embodying spiritual virtues. These things don't even exist in some of their worlds, yet it's an entire domain of intelligence that's untapped.

When you ask how we quantify something from a scientific perspective, you're really looking at needing something that's measurable and observable. How do we measure the expansion of consciousness? It's a difficult task to undertake, but if we call the expansion of consciousness spiritual intelligence and define what that is, there are many ways to do so. The classic way is saying that it's essentially the combination of your masculine and feminine qualities put together: your awareness (self-awareness, the masculine) and your embodiment of your awareness (the feminine). It's the sum total of both. Some people have a lot of awareness of their blind spots and are pretty self-aware, yet their addictions persist, their bad habits persist, and they make the same mistakes. It takes them a while to integrate the awareness that they have, so you need both; you can't just have one without the other.

Another way of looking at spiritual intelligence is to say that it is your comprehension of reality. How aware are you of reality? How much do you comprehend the true nature of reality? We all live in these vacuum-sealed bubbles of our own ego prism, where our perception is filtered through our biases, traumas, judgments, subjectivity, conditioning, socialization, culture, and identities. Everything about what makes up our ego is like a huge filter over our perception, so we don't see reality as it actually is in its naked, organic form. Spiritual intelligence is the ability to be aware of the filtering of the mind's perception of reality versus what we know reality actually is.

Concepts and ideas, for example, only exist in the mind. There are no concepts in reality itself. Reality never presents itself to you and says, "I'm a cloud, I'm a bird." Things just are; there's just the isness of reality. It doesn't name itself. There are huge implications to that. Are you aware of that? Do you integrate that understanding into the way you interact with reality?

True spiritual intelligence is about seeing reality as it is, without the mind's filters, and unlocking the infinite intelligence within you.

Reality as it actually is in its nakedness and its organic form is a central concept in understanding spiritual intelligence. Spiritual intelligence is the ability to be aware of the filtering of the mind—the mind's perception of reality versus what we know reality actually is. Concepts and ideas, for example, only exist in the mind; there are no concepts in reality itself. Reality never presents itself to you and says, "I'm a cloud," or "I'm a bird." Things just are; there's just the isness of reality. It doesn't name itself.

There are huge implications to this understanding. Are you aware of it? Do you integrate that understanding into the way you interact with reality? These are different ways we can identify what spiritual intelligence really is. To me, it's not until we bring in the understanding that Ra teaches in the Law of One about Catalyst integration that we get the best kind of living picture of what spiritual intelligence really is.

What's so cool about this is that although spiritual intelligence may be difficult to define, quantify, and measure, it is nonetheless within you right now, undeniably so. The actual map of spiritual intelligence, the SQ chart we look at on these slides, exists within you. You are the map of spiritual intelligence. Your first six energy centers, from the root to the third eye, are the map of spiritual intelligence. Each one of the first six chakras serves as a processing center for consciousness and energy.

We know the seventh energy center, the crown chakra, is really just a barometer or a readout of your overall level of polarization. It is also a map of SQ in a different way in that it shows the total vibratory level of your lower six chakras. However, the crown isn't a processing center like the other six; it is the gateway to intelligent infinity. Isn't it interesting that Ra uses the term intelligent infinity to describe God? Ra describes the Creator as intelligent infinity.

On many podcasts, the host will ask me, "What is God in your definition?" There are lots of good answers to that question, but one really good answer is that the Creator is intelligent infinity. If God is infinite intelligence and God dwells in all living beings, then the intelligence of God is available within you right now. You have access to it, but you have to unlock it. It's not that you have to go out into the universe and find where God's intelligence is. You don't need to find intelligence outside of yourself. Instead, you look within yourself.

As you strive to know thyself, spiritual intelligence naturally flowers within you because it's already your nature. You're already the infinite intelligence of God, but it has to be unlocked or, as Ra might put it, unblocked. These six processing centers—root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye—are the six levels of spiritual intelligence that our energy moves through as it ascends up the spinal highway, up the chakra network. Based on how open or blocked each processing center is, some or all of the energy can get blocked, stuck, or trapped in that energy center.

Spiritual intelligence, according to the Law of One's teachings, could also be defined as the ability to process life experiences through all six energy centers, having all six processing centers equally active and involved in the catalytic process. This is probably the closest measurement device we have for quantifying our level of SQ. You can objectively look at your current life challenges and compare them to the SQ chart to roughly determine how high the catalytic energy of that particular experience is making its way up the chakras.

Spiritual intelligence is about processing life through all six energy centers to gauge your growth and awareness.

Spiritual intelligence, according to the Law of One teachings, can be defined as the ability to process life experiences through all six energy centers, ensuring that all six processing centers are equally active and involved in the catalytic process. This is probably the closest measurement device we have for quantifying our level of SQ. You can objectively look at your current life challenges and compare them to the SQ chart to roughly determine how high the catalytic energy of a particular experience is making its way up the chakras.

I will take you through the SQ chart and show you, chakra by chakra, what each level represents and how the energy is processed at that center. This will help you understand and feel how energy makes its way up into the heart. The SQ chart consists of 30 total qualities, essentially boiling spiritual intelligence down to these 30 qualities: six chakras with five main qualities per chakra. We will look at them in a minute, and you will get to gauge yourself on each SQ area to see how high that energy is moving. It varies for every quality; you may be very embodied in one area and need more integration in another.

We are complex, multi-dimensional beings, working on many different levels of our beingness. Each of these six levels you see here is crucial because they are the actual processing centers. They are all named to help you grasp the basic essence of what that level of spiritual intelligence looks like. For instance, someone with a score of 50 or below means that the energy of all their life experiences is getting stuck in the root chakra, called the level of insanity. This is where all human insanities and the most egregious acts and evils of the world take place.

As the SQ rises to the sacral chakra, we call that the level of ignorance. Here, you are still strongly identified as an ego and do not perceive your oneness with everything. However, you are becoming less insane and more sane. You are still ignorant of how reality works but are not fully wrapped up in the illusion of separateness and deeply entrenched in victim consciousness, which is the root chakra. At the sacral chakra, you begin to find some personal empowerment and develop awareness of your emotional world and the importance of regulating emotions—basic components of spirituality.

The level of empowerment is one level higher, where you start to become empowered with the knowledge that you are not a victim of reality. You realize you can create your reality and work with the laws of the universe, which are not your enemy but actually work on your behalf. This is the beginning of a spiritual awakening. However, a full-blown spiritual awakening does not begin until you cross over into the 101 to 125 SQ range, which is the level of the heart, or fourth density consciousness.

When you can fully live from the heart, technically speaking, you are not living fully from fourth density consciousness until you reach 125 SQ points or above. But you are in the fourth density range once you pass the 100-point mark, starting to make your home in the heart. This is called The Awakening level because you are now awakening to the reality of oneness. At the level of empowerment, oneness is just a concept. You may have some fleeting experiences of it, maybe mystical moments where you realize all is one and feel the love of the creator for everything, but very quickly, the experience comes to its end.

=> 00:14:43

True awakening begins when you start living from the heart, integrating humility, compassion, gratitude, joy, and service to others.

Consciousness is achieved when you can fully live from the heart. Technically speaking, you're not living fully from fourth density consciousness until you reach 125 SQ points or above, but you're in the fourth density range once you surpass the 100-point mark. At this stage, you're starting to really make your home in the heart, which is called The Awakening level. This means you're now actually awakening to the reality of oneness. At the level of empowerment, oneness is just a concept. You may have some fleeting experiences of it, perhaps mystical moments where you realize, "Oh my gosh, all is one," and you feel the love of the creator for everything. However, very quickly, the experience ends, and you're back in ego consciousness.

At the empowerment level of SQ, we're not living from the heart. We may jump up into the heart for quick moments, but at the Awakening level, we're establishing ourselves in the heart. This means that every experience we have, such as taking the SQ test and scoring a 105 SQ, indicates that you're in the Awakening level. This signifies that you've done some serious work on yourself, becoming a very spiritually embodied person, and are beginning to integrate the qualities of the heart like humility, compassion, gratitude, joy, and service to others. These are the five qualities of the heart chakra on the SQ chart. From there, we rise higher, eventually reaching the level of Illumination, which I like to call Early Enlightenment.

Illumination is represented by the throat chakra, which signifies the density of light, as RW says, the wisdom density. Here, your love becomes embodied with deep spiritual wisdom, making you an extremely authentic person. These are the qualities of a very open, active throat chakra—someone who can communicate spiritual wisdom very well, naturally, and easily. More importantly, this is someone who embodies and demonstrates spiritual wisdom. Above that is the final level of SQ, the third eye level of Mastery, which is total Enlightenment. This is the level of the sage, the level of the guru. Beyond that, I've put on the chart The Singularity level, representing the very few rare beings who've graced our planet—avatars like Christ, Buddha, and Krishna. These divine beings are revered even by sages and gurus, who bow before their feet and call them Master. Quantifying that level of SQ is challenging, but it definitely exists, and so it's given a place on the SQ chart.

Let's briefly go through these first six levels to show how the point scale works on the SQ test. A zero-point score in any quality on the SQ test represents that you're still living from deep victimhood, a self-righteous attitude, strong projections, and no real awareness of what the problem is. A zero-point score indicates that you are essentially totally blocked in this area and need help to begin becoming aware of what this blockage is and how to start healing it. At the level of insanity, a zero-point score reflects people living from the victim ideology, thinking, "It's always everyone else's fault; everything is so unfair. Life has been so unfair to me. If only people would be more fair, if only people could recognize how important I am, then I could be happy, then I could find fulfillment in life. But the whole world is so screwed up and evil; how am I ever going to find happiness? It's all cruel and unfair." This is the basic mentality of probably more than 50% of humans on Earth, according to my own subjective experience of the world. Most people still believe that victim consciousness is a virtue of some sort, that it's actually good or helpful in any way. Of course, we know it's a massive blockage of your root chakra.

If you score a one in any SQ category, it represents that you're still living from that victimhood, although it's improved a bit. There is some awareness forming now about where you're blocked, and there's a desire to change. This is the classic one-point quality: when you score one, it means there's a big blockage here, but you've got some awareness of it and a desire to change.

=> 00:19:12

True spiritual awakening begins when you feel your deviations from love, not just think about them.

The basic mentality of probably more than 50% of humans on Earth, according to my own subjective experience, is that victim consciousness is seen as a virtue. Most people still believe that it is actually good or helpful in any way. Victim consciousness is a massive blockage of your root chakra. If you score a one in any SQ category, it represents that you're still living from that victimhood. Although it's improved a bit, there is some awareness forming about where you're blocked, and there's a desire to change. This is the classic one-point quality: when you score one, it means there's a big blockage, but you have some awareness of it and a desire to change or heal it.

The desire to change is the pivotal factor that determines whether you score a zero or a one. If you're still blaming others, you don't have a desire to change yet. Self-responsibility begins with saying, "Alright, I got to change me if I want to change this problem." When that quality picks up even further, you are at the two-point level of SQ in that area, which means you're developing some real self-honesty and self-responsibility. You're willing to actually own up to where you're blocked and what needs to be worked on. This is the early Spiritual Awakening stage.

A three-point score represents that the energy is making it up to the heart chakra, which means you are officially spiritually awakened to the reality of love. To say that somebody is spiritually awakened means there is an inner impulse within you, an inner sensitivity to the law of one and the nature of Oneness. When you say or do something that is out of alignment with the law of one, such as a bit of selfishness or a slight attack towards somebody, you don't just have to think about it. You feel the deviation. The heart is sensitive to spiritual reality, so you don't need to be told that it's a blockage or remember what you learned in a video or book. It's a living truth to you, and you feel off inside when you stray. You then go right into getting back into alignment.

The Gospel of Jesus speaks about repentance: "I'm sorry God, I didn't realize that was unloving. Thank you for your forgiveness. I'm determined to make this right." You actually go to your brother or sister, make amends, and apologize. Living in the heart means being sensitive to the law of one such that you feel your deviations, not just conceptually think about them. At the awakening level of three, scoring a three on any quality in the SQ test means you have had a strong spiritual practice in this area for quite some time. Nobody just accidentally arrives at the heart chakra; it requires sincere determination.

This is the way God has designed the game of the universe. If you want to progress to higher levels and stop playing at the amateur levels, you need to practice, just like in every sport or competitive endeavor. Nobody winds up at the Olympics just because they're naturally talented. Some people are more naturally talented, and if they practice, they'll probably be better than most. This is true for SQ as well. Some souls come here with a much higher frequency level than others, perhaps from a higher density, bringing more SQ with them. This means they will probably awaken faster than most people.

To reach higher levels, you must practice and do the work, just like in any sport or competitive endeavor.

If you want to progress up to the higher levels and stop playing at the amateur levels, you need to practice just like in every sport and competitive endeavor in humanity. Nobody winds up at the Olympics just because they're naturally talented. Yes, some people are more naturally talented, and if they practice, they'll probably be better than most people. This is true for SQ as well. Some souls come here with a much higher frequency level than others. If you're coming from a higher density and not a native third-density soul, you bring more SQ with you, which means you'll probably awaken faster than most people on the planet. You might be quicker to embody spiritual truth, but nonetheless, you still have to do the work. Nobody escapes doing the work; that's why we come here—for the Catalyst integration.

You only score a three because you've been doing the work and have had a strong spiritual practice in that specific area. Illumination is a four-point score, representing early-stage Enlightenment. Scoring a four on any category is an extremely high score. Bravo! You are incredibly embodied in this area, having done a lot of work on yourself, and now you get to enjoy the fruits of your labor. You get to enjoy the natural, easy, effortless Enlightenment of the throat chakra, which naturally and easily comprehends spiritual truth. The illumination level is where the light of Consciousness dawns powerfully in your mind.

Then we have the final frontier that few beings ever cross over, which is the level of five SQ points—the level of perfect Enlightenment or total crystallization Mastery. This represents that you have mastered that SQ quality and have no more work to be done here, at least in a human lifetime. At higher densities, it keeps going, but you need to be in a fourth, fifth, or sixth-density body to actually work on those densities. In a third-density body, you're working on third-density catalysts. Mastery on the SQ chart represents Mastery of the third-density level of SQ.

This is what the root chakra level looks like, with five blockages and five qualities of a very balanced and active root chakra. When the red ray Energy Center is firing on all cylinders and is not blocked, it gives you a feeling of prosperity, trust, and a great sense of purpose. You want to be alive, be a human being, and be in your body. You're excited to be alive and balanced, not extremely reactive towards everything. Extreme reactivity is one of the biggest hallmarks of a blocked root chakra. The root chakra represents our primal survival, safety, personal needs, and animal nature. When blocked, everything feels like a survival test, provoking fear, anxiety, and stress, easily triggering fight or flight mode. Being balanced in the root chakra allows you to respond to life experiences without being thrown off-center.

The next level is ignorance with an SQ range of 51 to 75. These are the qualities of this level of SQ, represented by the specific processing center or chakra. The solar plexus represents your personal identity, individuality, social self, and how you show up in the world and relate to other people. The solar plexus also represents your intellect, with its own set of five blockages and qualities.

=> 00:28:09

Balancing your lower three energy centers is key to unlocking your spiritual potential.

Experiencing a challenging or even threatening situation can happen to anyone, but it doesn't necessarily throw you off your center. This is an example of the five qualities of the root chakra. The next one is ignorance, with an SQ range of 51 to 75. These qualities represent what this specific processing center, or chakra, embodies. These are the five blockages and the five qualities.

The solar plexus represents your personal identity or individuality, your social self, and how you relate to other people. It also represents your intellect. The five blockages and qualities of the solar plexus include control, victimhood, jealousy, projection, and pride. These are the main blockages to the solar plexus. When victimhood is healed, it becomes empowerment, which is a classic quality of a balanced solar plexus.

Moving on to the heart chakra, it encompasses compassion, joy, service, gratitude, and humility. When we get to the upper three energy centers, it is reversed. As taught in 40u, we are truly only blocked in the lower three energy centers. This is why it is stressed that the purpose of being here as a human is to balance these lower three energy centers. They are the foundations of your spiritual self. If these lower three are blocked, the energies cannot ascend into the higher centers for greater spiritual qualities.

In the heart, throat, and third eye chakras, we will look at the five main qualities in those centers and how to activate them. On the right, you will see what blocks those qualities, and you will notice a lot of the same patterns that you saw in the lower three chakras. The throat chakra embodies qualities such as illumination, inner wisdom, communication, authenticity, integrity, honesty, truthfulness, transparency, creativity, and being divinely guided. The five essential qualities of a balanced throat chakra are wisdom, communication, authenticity, presence, and integrity, along with their blockages.

Finally, the third eye chakra includes qualities like spiritual balance, intuition, psychic awareness, the ability to focus or concentrate, the ability to visualize and imagine, inner stillness, self-awareness, and spiritual empowerment. The five qualities of the third eye are spiritual balance, intuition, empowerment (spiritual empowerment, not personal), self-awareness, and concentration. In the third eye, positive and negative polarities become balanced in your awareness.

That's a sneak peek into the chakra qualities and blockages. Now, we will move into our Catalyst integration. If you have a catalyst you want to discuss today, feel free to put up your virtual hand, and we will bring you on to gauge where you might be at in that particular catalyst.
