👴🧠 "Having someone with cognitive decline in such an important position makes you question the purpose of that job." 🤔
If you guys haven't seen it already, there is a new clip of Biden going around where he does sort of the ultimate gaffe. Take a look at it, and then let's talk. "And now I want to hand it over to the president of Ukraine who has as much courage as he has determination. Ladies and gentlemen, President Putin... President Putin..."
This is heartbreaking, and I don't want that to get lost in all the political punditry. What strikes me is that there is a minimum age if you want to become president, but there's not a maximum age. If you look at why there is a minimum age, it's because we understand that you need to be cognitively developed. You need to have enough information and contact with the world to have developed some real wisdom.
But if you start declining, you are literally leaking your wisdom. You're not able to hold the same connections, and the way that the brain works, it can compensate for a very long time, but eventually, the structures of the brain deteriorate. When somebody starts going down that path, it’s a one-way street. He’s not going to U-turn and suddenly be going in the right direction.
At this point, having somebody in such an important position who is obviously experiencing cognitive decline makes you really start to question the purpose of that job. The president doesn't have a lot of impact on many things because the American system is designed to prevent anyone from becoming a tyrant. However, immediate decisions—like in the Cuban Missile Crisis, where millions of lives were hanging in the balance—those moments require someone who can make a decision quickly. If that person can't do it, it's not going to be him making that decision.
You don't want to knowingly elect the Deep State as a blob. It's way different if this is year three, and he's about to end his term; okay, we get it, we can kind of ride it out. But to start a whole other four years is crazy. Clinton and Bush are both younger than Joe Biden—they were presidents in the 90s and early 2000s, and yet they're still five, six, seven years younger than the person we're saying has four more years to do this.

He is, as anybody is in the grips of cognitive decline, reverting to the things that he knows, the routines he’s done over and over again. He’s grabbing onto the familiar, and all he knows is to be a political animal.
On the other hand, look at Trump during the debates; he just shut up. He was quiet. There's this phrase, "Never interrupt your enemy while they are destroying themselves." That’s exactly what Trump did.
I want a leader who has a vision for where we're going. Put someone in that position who has a positive vision for the future, someone who can explain how we're going to make life better for our kids. Ultimately, everything comes down to people starting to act the right way when they believe that they are making the world better for their children.
For me, leadership means making leaders. True leaders empower the next generation. Being a political leader is one of the most brutal things you can ask of somebody. It’s like asking them to give their health over to the nation. Being the president effectively strips people of years of their life because it is so demanding.
This really comes down to the political system, the machinery that has just grown bigger and bigger over time. The output of any system tells you what the system is designed to do, and right now, the output of the system is career politicians influenced by money.
So much of this is people caught in an emotional loop. They are not following logic; they are following emotion. If this is what the system is outputting, then you have a system that outputs a sick final product.
When Biden performed poorly in debates, the media was quick to defend him, saying, "He's fine, he's the same guy he’s always been." But then, almost overnight, everyone started acknowledging his decline. It was either the straw that broke the camel's back, or it was hyper-coordinated.
We have officially entered the age of conspiracy, and though I am not a conspiracy guy, it's hard to ignore these patterns.

You need shortcuts because you can't research all of this stuff yourself, so you turn to somebody like Ben Shapiro, Candace Owens, or George Clooney. These figures become the shortcuts for understanding complex information quickly. Now, if I had to sit down with Joe Biden, I probably would do it, but I'm super conflicted. I really want to see him exit gracefully. It's sad to watch his legacy deteriorate because he'll be remembered for this and only this.
I'm pulling for America, and I expect every country to pull for themselves. We all need to think of the country, not just the political figures. I'm not pulling for Joe Biden, I'm not pulling for RFK, and I'm not pulling for Trump. The focus should be on the country as a whole rather than individual leaders. This brings us to predictive validity in politics. If I believe something and act in accordance with it, will it make my life better? To find that out, you have to run what I call the physics of progress, which is essentially the scientific method recontextualized.
Throughout history, there have been many instances where leaders have lost their faculties, whether due to corruption, mental illness, or just the intoxication of power. The U.S. political system, despite its flaws, has mechanisms to handle such leadership vacuums. The machinery in place ensures that no single person becomes too important, allowing us to navigate through crises and eventually elect a new president.
When thinking about potential replacements for Joe Biden, I don't know how serious Michelle Obama is about not wanting to run. But if I were to pick someone who has a good chance of winning, she seems like a pretty strong choice. However, regardless of who runs, I'm confident that by December 2024, we will be okay. We are resilient as a nation, and it is rare that things turn out to be as bad as we fear they might be.
